Procedure

The latest concepts in professional dental hygiene make it possible to clean gently with aeropolishers and to use ultrasonic scalers only in specific areas.

These devices enable you to vary the cleaning intensity to suit the location and degree of hardness of deposits such as plaque or tartar.

Our hygienists are particularly attentive to the notion of pain, to make scaling as painless as possible.

They’ll also give you tips on how to maintain impeccable dental hygiene.

frequently asked questions

Every 6 months for most patients, but this can vary: every 3-4 months if you have rapid tartar build-up, bleeding gums or bad breath. During your premium or express scaling, we’ll assess your ideal rhythm.

Wait 2 hours after descaling before eating or drinking (except water). Avoid tobacco and alcohol for 24 hours to preserve sensitive enamel and optimize results.

Brush your teeth 2 to 3 times a day, for 2 minutes each time, using a soft toothbrush with medium-length bristles. An electric brush is ideal for effective cleaning without damaging the gums.

Yes, every day! Floss is ideal for tight spaces, while interdental brushes are perfect for wider areas. This prevents tartar, bleeding and bad breath by removing plaque where the brush can’t reach.

Choose a 1000-1500 ppm fluoride toothpaste for adults, adapted to your needs (anti-tartar, sensitivity or whitening). Choose an RDA of less than 100 to protect enamel from wear and erosion, especially if you have fragile gums. Ask us for a personalized recommendation at your next appointment.
